From the very beginning, TARANGO has been supporting students under its student stipend program. The program is funded by Dharma Door, Australia, and started in February 2009 for the underprivileged high school students of TARANO’s working areas. The students receive 200 taka every month, and 1,000 taka annually to purchase schoolbooks and other necessary equipment. There are currently 20 students in the Barisal area receiving this support.
